We have an opportunity for a process worker to join our team of casuals as a Production Wash Bay Operator.
Location: Virginia, QLD. Easily accessible, with ample on-site secured parking and public transport
Hourly Rate: $40.55
Shifts Available: 10pm to 6am
Monday to Friday, ongoing 40h per week on a casual basis
What you'll do:
* Operate wash bay equipment to clean and sanitize production machinery parts, containers, and tools.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Inspect equipment before and after cleaning to ensure cleanliness and report any damage or wear.
* Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS).
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area.
* Complete cleaning logs and documentation accurately and on time.
* Assist with equipment setup and changeovers as needed.
* Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
What we are looking for
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in a wash bay, sanitation, or industrial cleaning role preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
* Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, and work in wet or humid environments.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
