Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Room Attendant include:
Changing bed linen and making beds
Replacing used towels
Sweeping and mopping floors
Scrubbing bathrooms and toilets
Vacuuming carpets
Dusting furniture
Replenishing bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
Restocking beverages and food items in the mini-bar
Cleaning public areas, like corridors
Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
Addressing guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
Helping guests retrieve lost items
Ensuring all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
Following hotel security guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Solid attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is a plus.
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.
