In this role, you will
- Operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
- Comply with Thiess’ policies and procedures
- Respond to instructions from Mining Supervisor
- Ensure floor levels are maintained
- Minimise dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances
- Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
- Set and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Carry out pre-start checks
About You
- 3 years plus experience operating a CAT 994 Loader in a production mining operation, including loading at the ROM
- Equivalent experience in Komatsu WA 1200, Le Tourneau 1850
- Strong mining operational skills and ability to maintain pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
- Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
- Valid Australian driver's license
