What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated, team‑oriented Nurse Educator with demonstrated leadership capabilities to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The position will be the lead for Education and Training within the Emergency Department, working collaboratively to support the delivery of quality teaching and learning within the multidisciplinary workforce. Duties include facilitation of site‑based Orientation and Induction processes, Mandatory Training, and coordination of student placements. The role involves the implementation of strategic training initiatives in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators and the Nursing Leadership team, supported by the ED Nursing Leadership team and the John Hunter Hospital Nurse Educator Collaborative group led by the JHH Director of Nursing & Midwifery Services.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has
* Relevant experience in a nursing leadership position within an Emergency setting.
* Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team with a variety of multidisciplinary stakeholders.
* Sound theoretical knowledge and demonstrated experience in utilising a range of teaching and learning strategies to support staff development.
* An awareness of contemporary issues in the relevant area of clinical practice, quality service delivery and staff education development.
Requirements
* Hold or be eligible for current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Completion of Post Graduate qualifications in Nursing and / or Education.
* Eligibility to drive in NSW.
