About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, theAccounting Support Leadprovides short‐term leadership, guidance and technical accounting support to the Finance Team during a 6‐month maternity leave period. This role focuses on applying accounting standards, legislative requirements and best‐practice principles to ensure finance activities are completed accurately, compliantly and consistently.
This position will provide targeted coaching, quality assurance and accounting expertise to support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Business Support and month‐end processing, ensuring the team perform their responsibilities in accordance with accounting guidelines, policies and statutory requirements.
The role contributes to the Finance Manager's objectives by strengthening accounting processes, improving adherence to standards and mentoring team members to build accounting capability.
