Be part of the energy, the creativity, and the unforgettable moments that make the Albany Entertainment Centre one of WA’s most iconic regional venues. We’re looking for a dynamic, driven and people‑centred Assistant Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to play a pivotal role in bringing performances, events and community experiences to life.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Manager Albany Entertainment Centre to keep AEC running at its best. You’ll be the friendly, solutions-focused point of contact for people booking the venue, helping them shape their events from first enquiry right through to opening night. You’ll guide clients through options, coordinate details across teams, keep schedules sharp and play a key part in ensuring every performance and function feels effortless behind the scenes.
Your days will be fast‑paced and varied — supporting event operations, rostering and leading front of house teams, working with technical staff, preparing reports and contributing to planning and budgeting. You’ll help build strong stakeholder relationships, support recruitment processes and contribute to programming that speaks to our regional community.
To thrive here, you’ll bring strong organisational instincts, clear communication skills and the confidence to stay composed when things get busy. You’ll understand how to navigate risks and respond to incidents, be comfortable with financial and reporting tasks, and genuinely embrace the values of the Arts and Culture Trust.
