Altitude is seeking a Network Engineer (Level 2 – Fibre & ISP Networks) to join a fast-growing telecommunications carrier and technology provider delivering high-speed fibre networks, and integrated smart building solutions across residential and commercial developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of network deployments, enhance technical expertise, and play a key role in the delivery and support of modern network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with installation and commissioning of XG-PON OLTs and ONUs, routers, switches, wireless PTP & PTMP links, and Wi‐Fi access points
* Work with fibre (GPON/FTTP) and structured cabling
* Configure and troubleshoot IP networks (LAN/WAN)
* Support CCTV, access control, and intercom deployments
* Perform testing, provisioning, documentation, and technical support
Key Requirements
* Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
* Experience with networking hardware (MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Ruijie or similar)
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate documentation
* Professional IT, Networking or Engineering qualifications and a valid driver's licence
Desirable experience includes fibre networks (GPON/OLT/ONU), wireless networking, CCTV or access control systems, exposure to tools such as Winbox, UISP or Ruijie Cloud, ticketing or ISP billing systems, basic server/VM knowledge, and certifications such as CCNA or MikroTik.
