About the job
* Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
* Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
* Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
* Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively – with all training and tools provided.
* Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Shift Details (subject to change)
* Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
* Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9:00 am
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
Monday – Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have
* Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
* Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
* Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
* Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
