Utilise your administrative expertise to provide support and advice to Corporate Strategy and DeliveryOngoing, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public ServiceVPS Grade 3: $81,496 - $98,955 plus the Business Unit:The South Area accounts for approximately 500 staff over 13 Justice Service Centres (JSC's), 8 in the South East Metropolitan Region and 5 in the Gippsland Region. The JSC's are non-custodial sites and are located at Bairnsdale, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston, Lilydale, Morwell, Moorabbin, Pakenham, Ringwood, Rosebud, Sale, Warragul and Wonthaggi, with Dandenong and Morwell also being the Regional Offices. All sites deliver a range of justice services including Community Correctional Services, Sheriff's Operations, Births Deaths & Marriages (forms and proof of identification), and Youth Justice.Wulgunggo Ngalu Learning Place, a residential program location, is based at Macks Creek near Yarram.About the Role:Reporting to the Business Support Supervisor (Finance & Risk), the role is responsible for providing administrative support functions for the Area's financial and risk management functions. These include support functions associated with purchasing and procurement, asset management, budgeting and general financial management and occupational health and safety.Some of your duties will include:Assist in the delivery of financial and risk management services by meeting agreed corporate and program objectives, service delivery standards and timelines, including accounts payable, purchase orders & the guidance of the Manager, Finance and Risk, assist in the provision of accurate and evidence-based advice to support the development of budgets, planning, risk management activities.Under direction, collect statistical information, analyse, prepare reports, obtain quotes and prepare estimates for works and servicesTo learn more about this role before applying, please read the attached position description.About You:As our ideal candidate, you will possess:Demonstrated experience of government purchasing processes and procedures, and the use of purchase to payment system Oracle, or similar.Ability to learn relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and experience in Microsoft 365 applications, in particular Excel, Outlook (and group mailboxes), SharePoint and Teams.
