Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Collins Sustainment business unit, you will be responsible for providing effective project controls and leading a dedicated team in planning, monitoring, and delivering projects within cost and schedule constraints.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish standards, templates, and processes for managing programs and projects
* Lead and develop a team of Project Controls Analysts
* Plan and schedule programs, projects, and activities
* Develop and manage cost estimates for projects
* Provide progress and project health metric reporting
* Implement earned value management (EVM) and baseline change management
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce/Economics, Engineering or equivalent experience
* Minimum 10 years' experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Cost Estimating, and Project Planning & Scheduling, ideally in the defence sector
* High-level experience with managing teams and driving performance and activity engagement
* Agile management knowledge and a curious, solutions-focused mindset
* Demonstrated experience in effective implementation and execution of Earned Value Management(EVM) and AS ********* Standards
* Experience with training and mentoring staff in Project Controls methods
