Our client, a well-established global consumer goods business, is seeking a Supply Planner to join their high-performing supply chain team. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion and recent team changes, making it ideal for someone ready to step into a key supply planning role with growth potential.
The Supply Planner will take ownership of packaging and raw materials planning, working with both local and international suppliers to ensure supply continuity. Responsibilities include inventory reconciliation, raising purchase orders, and maintaining planning accuracy within ERP systems. The role also involves tracking KPIs such as DIFOT, supplier performance, and inventory targets, while actively supporting product launches and lifecycle changes.
* Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets
* Manage inventory levels, avoid stockouts or overstocking, and process purchase orders
* Maintain accurate ERP planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points)
* Manage key supplier relationships and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries
* Report on performance metrics including DIFOT and supplier KPIs
* Support new product launches, phase-ins/outs, and regulatory transitions
* Participate in regular S&OP meetings and weekly planning rhythms
* Drive process improvement initiatives across planning and supplier management
We're looking for a junior supply planning professional who brings energy, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset. You'll need to be confident managing your own workload while engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business. This is a role that suits someone analytical, detail-driven, and ready to take the next step in their planning career.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or similar
* Experience in supply or inventory planning, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
* ERP system experience (Pronto preferred); advanced Excel skills required
