Occupational therapist - expression of interest

As an occupational therapist at Cerebral Palsy Alliance you will provide therapy to clients with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities, from early intervention with infants through to adult clients. You may be working one‐on‐one or in group sessions, building treatment plans that are evidence‐based and tailored to each client's goals. Daily work will involve collaborating with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and exercise physiologists to deliver coordinated care aimed at maximising clients' independence and participation in everyday activities and leisure pursuits.

• Develop and implement treatment plans that target fine motor skills and other functional goals.
• Provide guidance to clients on everyday activities such as dressing and eating.
• Assist clients in accessing home, school and work aids and equipment.
• Support clients in participating in recreation and leisure activities.
• Advise on home modifications including ramps and rails.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive, evidence‐based interventions.

• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• Evidence of current AHPRA registration.
• Current driver's licence and own vehicle.

• Clinical salary range approximately $80,000–$140,000 per year (incl. super) with tax‐free packaging.
• Professional development opportunities valued up to $20,000 in the first year and $10,000 per year thereafter.
