About the Role
Homewell are on a tremendous growth journey and are looking to build up our team of Domestic Assistants to better support our clients. Our Domestic Assistants provide essential cleaning services & community access to our aged clients and NDIS participants living in the Heidelberg & surrounding areas, maintaining and enhancing their homes and standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks.
Your responsibilities include:
* Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
* Making beds and changing bed linen
* Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
* Hanging, folding and ironing washing
* Dusting
* Community Access
This role is not restricted to home care professionals and those with domestic assistance experience already. Support workers with qualifications as well as anyone interested in pursuing a fulfilling and impactful career in home care are highly encouraged to apply. About You
We are seeking caring, friendly, compassionate, people-focused individuals with strong communication skills who want a career that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. You will also have:
* Experience in aged care and/or NDIS (preferred)
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (desirable)
* Comfortable interacting with elderly clients
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children check
* CPR and First Aid certifications
* Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver License
