- ** Annual APS4 Rate : $64,284 to $69,856 (Plus Superannuation)**:
- ** Security Clearance: Ideally we are looking for someone with a Baseline clearance or the ability to get one quickly.**
**About the role**
We are seeking a suitably
**APS4 Accounts Payable** and
**Accounts Receivable Officers** to join Federal government agency to process their large volume of financial transactions. There are
**2 non ongoing positions** to fill and we are looking for an organised, adaptive and highly motivated persons who works well in a small team.
**Main Roles of APS 4 Accounts Receivable Officer include**:
- Processing of refund requests, invoice renewals and creation of offices
- Processing of accounts payable invoices for select sections within the department
- Maintain receipting register, reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Downloading files and uploading them into departmental software
**Main Roles of APS 4 Accounts Payable Officer include**:
- Co-ordinate daily mail for the Financial Operations team
- Process vendor invoices (Claims for Payment), credit notes, action EFT failures
- Manage the Paperless Accounts Payable system queue
- Provide advice to internal customers & suppliers
- Assist the Accounts Payable Team Leader in ad hoc tasks
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong customer service skills and ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and adapting positively to change
- Have an understanding of the Accounts Receivable and Payable function
- Ability to review and verify data with attention to detail and
- Have some experience in using SAP
