**Hi, I'm Amit Thapa**

I was born and raised in a small village in the Nepali Himalayas, and by the time I turned 9, I had said goodbye to my friends, and my village to pursue my schooling. Education and community support played a vital role in where I am today, with 15 + years' experience in international human resource management, working with leading global brands such as Coles Myer, Travelex, American Express, IAG and Rabobank.

My passion has always been community and while my ultimate legacy is to help the people in my village in Nepal change their lives, **helping employers and global talent connect to create new growth opportunities and global communities is how we help through the Global Talent Agency.**

**And right now I'm looking for a passionate, responsible individual** to take ownership of our appointment setting

**Who are you?**

Well, in the ideal world, you'll have experience in outbound lead generation and/or appointment setting... but, we're also open to people who have the right temperament, as you'll be provided with training and "talking points" to follow. So, on the temperament front, if people generally describe you as:

- Self-confident and intelligent but not overbearing
- A quick learner and commercially savvy
- A doer - with vast resources of energy and a switched-on problem solver
- Diplomatically assertive
- Someone who is excited to be meeting prospects, over the phone
- Comfortable in taking charge of situations when needed
- Glass-half-full - but not blindly optimistic
- A confident decision-maker
- A natural leader who takes the initiative
- Resilient
- Willing to learn and ask questions
- Good at reading both people - and the facts
- Methodologically able to approach the process in a well-organised way

If yes... we should speak

**The role?**

This is a casual, part-time position, with the capacity to become permanent. It will see you working 25 hours a week (5 hours across 5 days), from wherever you are.

In simple terms, you'll be doing outreach over the phone to secure appointments. You won't need to make any sales.

Your days will see you:

- Making telephone calls
- Setting appointments
- Accurately recording the outcomes and actions
- Doing Research before calls and outreach
- Brainstorming with Amit's Executive Partnership Support Team
- Sourcing leads (although you'll be provided with most)

**Why would you?**

Well, the hours definitely support somebody with other responsibilities. We're a small, fun, casual, but effective team. We have a modern office in the Dexus building (formerly We Works) in funky downtown Pyrmont, **although you can work from anywhere should you wish**. We're a well respected and award-winning brand. The pay is good - $35 an hour plus super, plus bonuses Our values see us focusing on making the world a better place.
