**Barton Motors is a multi-Franchise New Vehicle Dealership with dedicated a Service Centres, providing all levels of servicing to their loyal customers.**
Their** **multi award-winning Service Department located in Capalaba experiencing solid growth with numerous improvements to our service process. We now need to add an** Experienced Service Advisor** to their great service team.
If you enjoy dealing with the public and are wanting a career within a stable company in growth mode, then joining the team as a **Service Advisor** is perfect for a person passionate about the automotive industry.
You will have at least 2 years' experience as a **top-level Service Advisor** with references to support your experience. You may already have extensive professional knowledge of the workings of the modern car and are wanting to 'come off the tools' or you could be an enthusiast and a quick learner. This role is the bridge between being a technical specialist and a sales professional and many great sales careers have started in this role.
**About the role.**
As a **Service Advisor** you are a key member of the service team, your role is to make the service processes for our loyal clients as simple and quick as possible from the first contact to delivering the serviced vehicle back to the customer.
To excel in this role, you need a combination of good administrative skills, attention to detail have great time management skills and the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people.
Specifically, the job involves,
- Booking clients in for service or repairs
- Interfacing with the technicians to establish the extent of work required and our parts team.
- Prepare pricing estimates of service repair orders.
- Communicating with customers to explain the work involved, gain their approval to proceed and provide regular updates on the progress of their vehicles.
- Dealing with Service Warranty Claims
- Working through paperwork to ensure we are complying with Manufacturer Procedures
- Working closely with the Service Manager and the Workshop Foreman/Controller to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- Working through customer concerns.
- Banking and some basic administration duties

**Very competitive remuneration package** with OTE in excess $90K per year (including commissions).
