Job Title: Research Services Officer (Ethics) $80,467 - $88,022 (G05) + 17% Superannuation Full time, permanent position Based at our vibrant Bentley campus Job Reference: 996574 About the Role: You will be part of the Ethics team, ensuring that the review, submission, and management of research projects and funded applications meet all administrative and regulatory requirements. The Research Services Officer will report directly to the Team Lead, Ethics, and will interact with researchers, academic staff, students, and other Curtin University staff as needed. Your responsibilities will include: Administer processes and make decisions based on ethical principles by applying your expertise on research services and systems. Provide expert ethics advice and support to research stakeholders based on a broad understanding of regulatory requirements, university policies, and external standards. Solve problems through the standard application of research policies and procedures. Manage enquiries regarding research ethics applications and work within the team to resolve more complex matters. Engage and liaise with key university stakeholders (e.g., Researchers, Research Office, People and Culture, Digital and Technology Solutions/DTS, and research participants). Support the embedding of service delivery improvements to benefit Curtin's researchers through commitment to continuous improvement and innovative practices.
