Talent International are currently recruiting for an experienced Agribusiness Manager to join a leading financial services provider in Forbes, NSW, where agriculture is the backbone of the community. In this key relationship-driven role, you’ll manage a high-performing portfolio of rural clients and provide tailored, integrated financial solutions to meet their business goals-supporting both growth and sustainability. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary plus superannuation plus bonus of up to 20%.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of key Agribusiness & Farming Sector (AgFS) clients.
* Develop new business opportunities through proactive networking, relationship management, and referrals.
* Assess credit risk and prepare lending proposals-personally sanctioning within delegated authority.
* Lead sales and income growth through competitive, locally focused campaigns.
* Coach and mentor Agribusiness Analysts and team members.
* Implement and manage annual business plans aligned with portfolio targets.
* Drive performance with a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
* Promote a safety-first culture and adhere to internal policies and external legislation.
Essential Requirements
* 4-8 years of experience in agribusiness banking, relationship management, or credit assessment.
* Strong understanding of agribusiness practices and financial needs of rural customers.
* Proven ability to manage complex lending and credit portfolios.
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Agriculture, Commerce, Business, Finance), with post-grad certifications (CA, MBA, ACCA, etc.) highly regarded.
* Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical standards.
