invest in, create and produce, First Nations works of scale, with priorities and funding decisions determined by First Nations leaders,
develop a First Nations Creative Workforce Development Strategy, and
promote best practice cultural protocols, self-determination and cultural safety training across arts and cultural organisations.

Your role
You will harness your cultural expertise, professional networks, and program management skills to manage the procurement, development and delivery of investment programmes aligned to First Nations strategic priorities. Your deep understanding of First Nations culture and sensitivity to the cultural needs of Indigenous communities will be invaluable as you collaborate with key stakeholders, artists, and community leaders to bring these programmes to life.
Program Management
Manage the development and delivery of key programmes that align with First Nations strategic priorities.
Expert Advice
Collaborate with our art-form experts and provide subject-matter expertise to support and improve programmes and processes.
Present and Report
Prepare engaging briefings, reports and presentations for a range of stakeholders to showcase the development and progress of investment programmes.
Secretariat Management
Manage the secretariat function for the First Nations Board meetings, facilitating informed decision-making; scope, plan and refine programmes, exploring opportunities to maximise impact.
Contract and Budget Management
Manage relevant programme contracts and budgets, ensuring everything stays on track and is captured through well-prepared programme documentation.
Outcome Evaluation
Work with the evaluation team to measure, analyse, and report on programme outcomes demonstrating the tangible impact of our initiatives.
