This role offers an exciting opportunity within Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT), a leading fiduciary, custody, and digital business in Australia with operations in Singapore. PCT provides innovative products to enhance client and industry efficiency while managing cyber security risks and ensuring compliance.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Disclosure and Fund Compliance, the Fund Compliance Manager will collaborate with the Responsible Entity (RE) Services Team to ensure governance, change management, project execution, and client service excellence in scheme amendments related to the Responsible Entity business. Building and maintaining effective client relationships in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards is key.
About the Role
1. Collaborate with the Responsible Entity Services Team to deliver high-quality, compliant scheme amendments and transactions.
2. Manage the change process for scheme amendments within set timeframes, scope, and quality standards.
3. Coordinate with senior management to ensure high standards in scheme amendments, transactions, negotiations, and customer experience.
4. Handle scheme change assessments, board approvals, and project management of amendments.
5. Implement SLA changes, manage buy-backs for listed schemes, and oversee portfolio activities.
6. Manage incidents from Investment Managers.
About You
1. Hold tertiary qualifications in law, business, accounting, or a related field.
2. Have at least 3 years of experience in financial services, with 2+ years in an outsourced Responsible Entity model preferred.
3. Possess over 2 years of compliance experience, ideally within investment management.
4. Have strong knowledge of the managed funds industry, including fund documents and operations.
5. Experience presenting to subsidiary boards and excellent communication skills are essential.
6. Project management skills and the ability to work in an agile environment are highly regarded.
7. Ability to assess impacts of legal changes and drive legal compliance.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
9. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
