Reporting into Senior Operations Management, this role is based in a state‐of‐the‐art 3PL facility in Dandenong South.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, safety and efficiency of the distribution centre. This role ensures operational excellence across warehousing, labour management, customer service, safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement in a fast‐paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day‐to‐day warehouse and distribution operations across all customers
* Ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities
* Drive accountability for safety and compliance, ensuring team adherence to regulations, internal standards and business expectations
* Manage labour planning to meet budgets, customer SLAs and operational demand
* Monitor productivity, KPIs and service levels across the warehouse
* Ensure accurate inventory control and stock integrity
* Lead, coach and develop team leaders and warehouse teams
* Oversee accurate data capture and customer billing, ensuring invoicing is timely, compliant and aligned with agreed service and commercial terms
* Foster a positive, accountable and safety‐focused culture
* Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior management to deliver service excellence
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, layout, systems and productivity
* Monitor costs and contribute to operational budgeting and efficiency
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience required
* Strong people‐management and leadership experience, with a focus on a collaborative and high‐performing culture
* Experience managing large teams preferred
* Demonstrated workforce planning experience
* Previous exposure to Warehouse Management Systems is required
* Current LF licence is desirable
