About the role
Southbank Endodontics is seeking a Full-time* (4 week days) Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in East Fremantle, WA. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our endodontists and providing exceptional patient care.
The required working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from ~8am to ~5pm.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the endodontists during complex endodontic procedures (root canal treatments)
* Perform administrative and receptionist tasks such as scheduling appointments, taking phone calls and handling patient records on computer
* Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment
* Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organised and well-stocked
* Greet and welcome patients, making them feel comfortable and at ease
* Provide chairside support and patient liaison
* Continuously update your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care
What we're looking for
* Experience in dental assisting and reception work is highly desirable
* Excellent communication in English language
* Completion of a Dental Assisting qualification is desirable
* Strong organisational and time management abilities to multitask efficiently
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sterilisation
* Passion for providing high-quality patient care and a genuine interest in the dental industry
