We are seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic/Examiner who is ready for the next step in their career.
* Inspecting vehicles and issuing roadworthiness certificates, or detailing work required to achieve roadworthiness
* Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and mechanical components
* Using diagnostic equipment and computer-assisted testing tools to identify faults
* Testing and adjusting mechanical components after repair to ensure proper performance
Key Responsibilities/Duties
* Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and inspecting parts
* Repairing or replacing worn and defective parts, re-assembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as required
* Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with regulations
You will be required to travel to various locations to perform Safety Certificates & Pre-Purchase Inspections.
