Full-time opportunity for Chef in a busy business in Freamantle. Salary between $78,000 - $80,000 plus 11.5% superannuation.
Applicant should be well qualified, and good communication skills are required.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Manages all activities associated with food services.
- Cooks and presents the dishes attractively and creatively according to the procedures necessary to maintain nutrition related to vegetables and meats.
* Directs and organizes kitchen staff in the correct preparation, garnishing, and serving of meals.
* Recruit and hire staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers.
- Training and induction of new and existing staff.
* Ensures meals are presented attractively and at the correct temperature.
* Prepare a roaster and organize staff for the smooth functioning of the kitchen.

* Cert 3 in Commercial cookery.
* Minimum of 3 years experinece in a similar role.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Daily mis en place.
* Cook the al la carte menu.
* Assist in daily ordering and should be well versed with good receiving procedures.
* Assisting the head chef with various daily and weekly jobs.
* Should follow the daily cleaning procedures
* Must be able to work in a small team and be punctual
