The Salvation Army Australia's Homelessness Stream provides high quality, person centred services to people at risk, and or experiencing homelessness. We support adults and families, including accompanying children with accommodation, case management, outreach support, financial assistance, connection and referral to other specialist services.

Why this role matters
We currently have a vacancy for a values driven Cleaner to ensure at all times the cleanliness of all buildings and rooms are at the highest standard.
You will successfully
- Undertake cleaning duties as per specifications list
- Attend to any emergency cleaning situations
- Ensure that adequate protective equipment is used
- Monitor all equipment and report any concerns
- Respect the right of all clients at the service
This is a permanent part time position, 15.2 hours per week.

What we're looking for
- Cleaning experience, preferred in a residential setting
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative and work un-supervised at times
- Physical ability to safely sit, stand, walk regularly and for long periods of time
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift, carry items up to 10 kilos in weight.
- Physical ability to climb ladders
- Current VIC Driver's Licence
- Current and valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
