Total Tools East Brisbane is looking for a Full-Time Retail Sales Assistant - Merchandise, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. This position is responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service while ensuring the store is visually compelling, well-stocked, and merchandised according to company standards. This dual role blends expert product knowledge and selling ability with strong visual merchandising skills to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and support overall store performance. What will you be doing? Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone. Offer product advice and technical information, or direct queries to the appropriate team member. Process transactions, special orders, and item deliveries. Proactively handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive outcome. Create and dispatch customer special orders and item delivery. Visual Merchandising Implement and maintain in-store displays according to Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines. Ensure store layout, displays, end bays, and promo setups are engaging. Regularly update ticketing, signage, and price labels (manual and system-generated). Ensure displays are visually appealing, stocked full, organized and price and meet safety/security standards. Ensure all stock is priced correctly and labelled. Bulk pricing is labelled in all appropriate areas Manual price updates labelled the same day when required A4 and A6 showcards correctly displayed throughout the store Provide photos of promo setups to management and post to internal platforms (e.g. Yammer). Removal of catalogue ticketing/updating labelling at conclusion of event / catalogue period Does this sound like you?
