About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. We are open to hearing from people who are interested in casual/part-time or full-time roles.
What you'll be doing
* Processing accounts receivable and managing credit control for the company
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
* Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function
* Following up on overdue accounts
* Reporting to the Directors
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in an accounts receivable or similar role, preferably within the Accounting industry
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (we use MYOB, and Google sheets)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team (our team is both in the office and remote/online)
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* Experience in hotel accounts and use of reservations software (eg. REI Cloud, Newbook, RMS) highly desirable, but not essential
