Job Opportunity: Clinical Maternity Educator
We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our Learning and Development Unit in a permanent full-time position.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a motivated and dedicated team to provide high-quality learning opportunities for healthcare professionals.
This role would suit an individual with clinical expertise in maternity services, who is flexible, solutions-focused, committed to quality, and willing to accept challenges.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant board
* Extensive post-registration clinical experience in midwifery, with no less than 5 years' experience
* Postgraduate qualifications in midwifery
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience across the pregnancy and birth continuum
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* High-level clinical skills across the continuum of pregnancy
* Knowledge of contemporary midwifery issues
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education
