Senior Associate in Business Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Business Tax team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized tax planning, compliance services, and strategic guidance that optimizes clients' tax positions while protecting their long-term interests.

You will work closely with clients across diverse industries, from family enterprises to growing businesses at pivotal moments in their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

* Tax Planning and Compliance: Prepare and review client tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Strategic Guidance: Advise on tax-efficient strategies to optimize clients' tax positions, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganization.
* Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, so you can identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting clients' interests.
* Critical Thinking: Use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

* Professional Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification (or working towards).
* Experience: A background in tax accounting with expertise in business tax, tax planning, and tax compliance.
* Skills: Experience in preparing and drafting tax documents.
* Lifelong Learning: Learning agility with an interest in AI's influence on the tax landscape, and the ability to adapt to new environments.
