Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
About the Role:
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Controls & Accounting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out financial management and administrative tasks using appropriate systems and processes to meet financial, governance, and delivery outcomes.
* Provide financial project support, including monitoring and reporting on project milestones and deliverables to ensure time, cost, and quality indicators are in line with approved budgets and objectives.
* Update and collate documentation and ensure project reporting complies with agreed project management methodology.
* Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project financial status.
* Provide a range of financial services to support project management and delivery.
* Collaborate with peers to share learnings, develop efficient work practices, and assist in crisis events in other local or regional areas.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in financial management, specifically in checking and validating project reporting and providing exceptional customer service.
* A strong eye for detail on financial data. Demonstrated experience working in a flexible and agile environment with changing demands is highly desirable, as is experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
* Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in financial management and analysis.
* Experience with financial systems, reporting, and project support.
