What you'll be doing
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to carry out required work
Operate a variety of manual and automated metalworking machines such as lathes, mills and borers
Carry out fault diagnosis and corrective actions on various components
Fabricate and modify parts and components to meet specific requirements
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure a safe work environment and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
What we are looking for
Experience with CNC machining, manual machining and fitting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and schematics
Knowledge of repair and maintenance techniques for hydraulic cylinders and components
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
