The Role
You will play an integral part in keeping our operations running by providing support to our team of trades personnel by:
* Assisting with the planning of contracted scheduled work plans and adhoc fault and failure response.
* Organising and raising Purchase Orders for travel (plane, helicopter, vessel, car) and accomodation for the workgroup as required.
* Submitting requests for permits to councils and managing authority approvals.
* Compiling workplans and being part of the team briefing prior to them heading out to the job.
* Collating reports and submitting them upon the completion of scheduled workplans and fault and failure responses.
* Assisting with the organistion of freight (in and out) and maintaining stock levels within our workshop.
What Will Allow Us To Succeed
You will be part of a small team who are very supportive and view success as a team outcome rather than an individual triumph. For us to achieve our goals it is necessary for you to possess and/or be able to demonstrate:
* Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suit (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* The ability to learn new cloud based systems quickly and effectively, we use (Simpro, Xero and interact with other systems used by our clients.
* Strong organisational skills with a calm, proactive approach
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with external and internal stakeholders.
* A strong eye for detail and an understanding that the 'little things' often do matter.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in contracts administration or similar administrative roles.
* A valid Australian driver's licence.
