The role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Security Lead.
This new and dynamic role is crucial to enhancing our strategic goals of driving and delivering cyber resilience within our client base whilst ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Reporting to the CTO, this hands-on, highly technical role focuses on assuring the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and will be responsible implementing uplifts of cyber security for business. The role will lead Essential 8 engagement as well as reviewing ongoing security metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy and configure Essential Eight Maturity Level security controls.
* Implement and optimize XDR, Intune, Purview, Application Control and related tools.
* Automate security processes, vulnerability scanning and enforce patch compliance.
* Document configurations, ensure full compliance and reporting to clients.
Essential Skills
* Minimum 5 years' experience in security engineering roles.
* Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Security Suite and other vendors specializing in the relevant controls.
* Proven experience implementing Essential Eight controls.
* Strong knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO, E8 and other security control frameworks
* Australian Citizen, current Federal Police Check
* Cyber security qualifications and Microsoft certifications.
