Senior Domestic Trader – Meat Industry (Gold Coast-based)
A1 Recruitment is representing a respected and long-standing business within the Australian meat industry, currently seeking an experienced Domestic Trader to join their team on the Gold Coast .
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building relationships, negotiating deals, and driving growth across the domestic market.
About the Role
As a Senior Domestic Trader, you'll:
* Lead and grow trading activities across multiple proteins and product lines.
* Develop and execute strategies that expand market share and revenue.
* Build long-term relationships with key customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery.
About You
You're an experienced meat trader or sales professional who knows the domestic market inside out. You're confident in your ability to analyse trends, negotiate effectively, and deliver strong results.
* Proven experience in domestic meat trading or related sales
* Strong commercial and market awareness
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Collaborative and driven with a focus on results
