Our client, Cessnock Hospitality Group, are looking for a Guest Services Agent to deliver front desk reception duties at their Wine Country Motor Inn, located in the heart of Cessnock. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service whilst managing check-ins, check-outs and guest enquires. In addition to general reception duties, you will manage breakfast service (continental) and assist guests with local information including maps and event information.
Shifts will include some early mornings (6.30am), evening shifts (up to 9.00pm) and some stopover shifts which will see you overseeing the night operations of the motel. The Guest Services Agent will ensure maximum guest satisfaction is achieved and that the general safety and security of guests, staff and the property is maintained.
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
* Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week including weekends and overnight stays - additional hours may be available
* Relevant experience a customer-facing tourism, hospitality or retail role
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Demonstrated administration and computer skills
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
* Highly developed communication skills with the ability to problem solve
