**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic **Gym and Fitness Instructor** to join the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, to assist with the delivery of our fitness programs to clients. Whether you are experienced or new to this industry, if you are hard-working and love all things fitness, then we want you!

In this role, you will deliver freestyle group fitness programs and/or gym floor supervision. You will have a positive and energetic attitude, will deliver a high level of customer service, and will play a role in communicating and promoting centre programs and overall fitness facilities.
This role will ensure the health and well-being of the patrons of the facilities in the aquatic centre at all times.
Role accountabilities include:
- Support and grow the delivery of high-quality programs.
- Maintain effective supervision of the DKHAC gymnasium to ensure the safety of all issues.
- Perform pre-activity screening and advise on appropriate exercise interventions.
- Conduct Client Inductions, Personal Training, Rehabilitation sessions and Group Fitness sessions.

Relevant Industry Qualifications are essential for this role. Qualifications required include:
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice
