Job Description
Diplomatik is looking for a Processing/Machine operator to join our client in Kewdale.
In this role, you'll be responsible for working on the assembly line/ production line. You'll also be responsible for inspecting finished products, packing boxes, unloading materials onto the assembly line, and adhering to safety protocols.
The role is casual, ongoing for the right candidate and an ASAP start.
Monday to Friday from 5.00am till 1.06pm or 2.00pm pm
Assembly Operator Responsibilities:
* Setting up products on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics
* Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly
* Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
* Loading product pieces slated for assembly onto the line and packing assembled products into boxes for storage
* Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected
* Maintaining a record of mechanical repairs and adjustments
* Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management
What you will bring:
* At least 1 years experience working on an assembly line
* Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures
* Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
* Good computer skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time
