The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is seeking an Infrastructure Development Specialist to assist in delivering road planning projects, reporting on transport matters related to urban planning and development applications, investigating and contributing to a range of transport planning and policy issues.
This role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to engage in various activities that contribute to the future of our state's infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Development Specialist, you will be part of a team that makes a genuine difference in planning the infrastructure for Western Australia.
* To be successful in this position, you must have skills, knowledge, and experience in transport planning, traffic engineering, traffic modelling, and/or road design.
* You should also possess well-developed skills, knowledge, and experience in critical thinking and problem-solving, including a high level of conceptual and analytical ability.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil, Traffic, or Transport Engineering or Urban/Regional Planning. In addition to technical expertise, you must demonstrate leadership behaviours within the context of Personal Leadership.
