The Role:
To provide project leadership in the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government’s Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings (COI), with a focus on enhancing Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) responses and programs.
The position will support coordinated planning and implementation of activities to improve mental health responses for children and young people, including those in Out of Home Care and involved with the Youth Justice Systems, as well as planning for the proposed child and adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Programs.
The role requires delivering high-level strategic advice to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with the broader CYMHS leadership team and project managers to ensure strategic programs are delivered consistently and integrated.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional experienced in driving cross-sector mental health service system change and enhancement activities as part of the CYMHS Reform program.
