About the role 
We are seeking a Cadastral Surveyor to play a crucial role in our Sydney Operations and Land Development Team. The role involves undertaking a variety of cadastral surveying work per client requests, ensuring that outcomes are delivered in line with relevant regulations, project requirements, scope and schedule. 
We are accepting applications from either experienced and / or licensed surveyors. 
Key responsibilities 
Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations as required 
Perform cadastral, engineering and other survey tasks as required 
Prepare and verify survey plans for submission to relevant authorities 
Create plans for subdivisions, developments, and other land-related projects 
Review and assess the accuracy of survey data to ensure compliance with legal requirements 
Liaising with clients to assess their needs, maintain relationships and deliver outcomes 
Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors 
Ensure clear records of job progress are kept for invoicing 
Ensuring professional, competent, and quality assurance procedures and methods are being met 
Ensure allocated equipment and vehicles are maintained and kept at a high standard 
Maintaining and updating knowledge and competencies by completing professional development and compliance training 
We are seeking someone with 
Proficiency with survey software and applications 
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively 
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team 
Key requirements 
Tertiary qualification in surveying 
Current Australian C Class Drivers Licence
