Technology Support Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Professional to join our team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, efficient, and effective IT support services to our organization nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and support of all IT infrastructure hardware and software, including switches, routers, servers, SANs, desktops, laptops, MFDs, Cisco phones, and mobile devices.
* Resolve network scanning and printing issues.
* Address desktop hardware issues.
* Utilize and maintain the helpdesk database.
* Manage and troubleshoot mobile devices and system remote access.
* Set up and troubleshoot audiovisual and video conferencing systems.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in technology support, preferably in a professional services environment.
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
* Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software, including Windows desktops, MS Office 2016 Suite, and hardware peripherals (printers and laptops).
* Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Logging and correct handling of all relevant incident/service requests.
* Ability to conduct initial investigation and diagnosis of issues.
* A willingness to learn and be self-motivated.
* Strong customer service focus.
* Prior experience working within a helpdesk environment.
