About the Role:
">
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at RAAF Base Amberley. As a key member of our Modification and Deeper Level maintenance facility, you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
">
">
* Maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment;
">
* Completion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) aircraft maintenance activities, sign-off, and Certification of those aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with the appropriate Authorised Maintenance Data (AMD);
">
* Application of trade qualifications and experience in the relevant trade category, as well as post-trade qualifications and experience;
">
* Interpretation of Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICA) airworthiness limitations from within AMD and application to the assessment of defects and imperfections;
">
* Providing mentorship to subordinate technicians in the development of their pathway to success;
">
* Liaising with Boeing, Commonwealth, and other Industry teams involved in maintenance operations at Amberley;
">
* Ability to work in a team environment and report to the assigned Maintenance Operations Manager;
">
* Obtaining an Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance;
">
* Adherence to Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework;
">
">
Requirements:
">
">
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics);
">
* Sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework;
">
* Australian Citizenship;
">
* High level of verbal and written communication skills;
">
* Ability to obtain an Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance;
">
* DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) or ability to obtain;
">
* Previous experience as a maintenance certifier / trade supervisor;
">
* Good knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures;
">
* Prior supervisory or leadership training;
">
* Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems;
">
* C-class driver's license;
">
* Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance;
">
">
