The Opportunity
As the Online Learning Content Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Library digital learning experience for Western Sydney University students. Working primarily on the Study Smart website, you will design and maintain high-quality, student-focused resources that support academic success.
You will collaborate with colleagues across the Library and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, visually appealing, and pedagogically sound. Your work will enhance discoverability and usability, applying accessibility standards and best practices in instructional design.
This role is central to the Library's strategic goals, contributing to a cohesive digital learning ecosystem and ensuring students have the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly online environment.
What Success Looks Like:
* Develop and maintain engaging online learning content aligned with academic skills programs.
* Apply accessibility and usability standards to ensure inclusive, student-friendly resources.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and visually engaging content.
* Use student feedback and analytics to inform continuous improvement.
* Contribute to innovation and best practice in digital learning design.

About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in digital content or learning support.
* Strong understanding of academic and digital literacies in higher education.
* Excellent written communication skills with attention to clarity and accessibility.
* Experience creating online learning modules and working collaboratively in teams.
* Familiarity with content management systems, accessibility standards, and UX principles.
