Financial Accountant Role
The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing the financial control framework, annual audit and Annual Report, as well as cash flow and balance sheet management.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial sustainability. The team provides technical accounting expertise to enhance financial control, manage audits, and maintain accurate records.
1. Main Responsibilities:
2. Preparation of month-end activities, including journals and reconciliations.
3. Improvement of financial reconciliations and processes.
4. Support with external audits.
5. Statutory account preparation.
6. BAS and FBT returns preparation.
7. Assistance with ad hoc accounting tasks.
8. Business partnering and liaison with stakeholders.
About You:
* Candidate must be working towards CA/CPA qualification.
* Commerce/Accounting degree qualification required.
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience preferred.
* A proactive approach, hardworking attitude, and accountability are essential.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting deadlines are key.
* Strong teamwork skills and focus on continuous improvement.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
