About the role
The Regional Manager, Accommodation is responsible for leading and managing the effective and efficient operation of a portfolio of accommodation services for clients with a disability within a defined region. The role supports the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives and projects relating to service growth, and ensures consistent application of practices, policies and procedures across all areas of the Accommodation & Respite business. Within a team of Regional Managers, the role is accountable for analysing business practices and performance to identify service gaps and opportunities, ensuring the A&R business is sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day‐to‐day operations of Accommodation Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
- Analyse operational performance to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, ensuring consistent application of practices across the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to secure access to necessary support, information and resources.
- Manage, support and mentor a team of House Managers.
- Manage the income and expenditure for the Accommodation business to achieve financial targets.
- Handle client and stakeholder management.
- Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of external best practices and legislative/regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across accommodation service operations.
- Manage client‐wellbeing processes across Accommodation services; conduct audits of sites and individual clients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership or senior leadership experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Industry experience in the disability sector, with past experience supporting the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives.
- NDIA framework and compliance knowledge with an understanding of how these relate to Accommodation & Respite services.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
