Hays are working with a well respected Tasmanian Not for Profit provider seeking an experienced Contract Accountant to support their Finance team. Known for their strong workplace culture and commitment to high quality care, this organisation offers a meaningful and supportive environment.
Your new role
Due to a backlog in projects, this has created the requirement for a Contract Accountant to join on a contract basis for a period of up to 6 months. Working in a team, you'll be involved in the reporting of projects, monthly management reporting, and other ad hoc work, including system interrogation. Reporting directly to the Manager of Finance, you'll be an integral part of a team of accountants during an exciting period of projects.
What you'll need to succeed
CA/CPA qualified, you'll have cemented your technical knowledge and have proven your skills with relevant practical experience in a similar role. Systems savvy, you'll seek efficiency gains where possible and have excellent Excel skills. You'll have well developed written and verbal communication skills and are able to tailor your style to cater to your audience. Experience using a large ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Tech one is desirable but not essential. You will also hold a Working with vulnerable people card and be prepared to undergo a national police check.
