About the Role
This varied and dynamic position involves developing hospitality skills within an international environment; either in Australia or overseas. As a member of the team, you will support the manager in day-to-day operations and assist in achieving the purpose of the department.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Preparing, setting up, stocking, taking down, cleaning and providing quality beverages and food products, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
* Taking food and drink orders and delivering to guest room if necessary.
* Providing excellent service to guests and internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
* Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
* Establishing a rapport with guests and maintaining good customer relationships.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a hotel environment or similar fast-paced setting.
* A valid and current RSA certificate.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
* The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5-star grooming standards.
* The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
