Facility Manager - Attractive hourly rate up to $55 hour + Super - 6-12 month with opportunity for permanency
**Your new company**
Seeking a talented and experienced Facility Manager. Managing and maintaining the complete property portfolio for an established organisation located on St Kilda Road. Ensuring that the building services are managed and achieved to high quality standards. The Property Manager will work with a team of 9 direct reports and have a budget responsibility of $1-1.5 million.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Head of Property, you will be responsible for
- Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital budgets
- Implement budgets through strategic action plans and control expenditures
- Provide required operational performance reports and maintain up-to-date knowledge of key developments in aged care facility management
- Manage repair, maintenance and upgrade works to meet requirements
- Identify opportunities for capital expenditure and manage budgets for minor projects
- Manage the interface between development and day-to-day operations, minimizing disruptions
- Contribute to development decisions as required
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will require:
- Experience in property management and aged care facility management
- Ability to produce annual budgets and manage expenditures
- Strong planning and coordination skills
- Good understanding of contractor management and procurement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
