Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community.
PaCH's services are provided at the District's hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres and specialist clinics. We work with other service providers across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals and mental health services.

The Role

Provide strong leadership and senior management of multiple sites and/or services whilst overseeing the operation of the Early Years and School Health Services to ensure delivery of an integrated and effective service.
The Early Years and School Health Services Manager will provide strong leadership, strategic oversight in planning, coordinating, and managing human, financial, material and capital resources. This role ensures the delivery of a cost-effective, high-quality service that meets key performance indicators and financial accountabilities across NSW Health (Health) and Department of Education (Education) interagency programs, such as the Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks and The Wellbeing Health In-Reach Nurse Coordinator programs.

Selection Criteria:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience, in child and adolescent health and development.
* Proven experience in senior leadership and management in a large and complex organisation
* Demonstrated experience of implementing change to meet strategic outcomes
* Demonstrated ability in management of human resources/financial/administrative/and/or other services
* Excellent strategic planning and policy development skills, including the ability to make complex judgements and take initiative within the delegated area
* Excellent negotiation, decision making and influencing skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, through all organisational levels
* Highly developed and effective written and oral communication skills
* Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
