About the role
The purpose of this position is to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic clinical services and food services to consumers of West Moreton Health (the Health Service). This position directly manages a medium team of operational services staff and assists the Director Nutrition and Food Services to provide high level leadership, strategic direction and advocacy for the Nutrition and Food Services department.
The position applies an expert level of knowledge and skills to the development of clinical food service systems at Ipswich Hospital, the surrounding rural facilities and The Park Centre for Mental health to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.
About you
- Demonstrated high level nutrition and dietetic food service knowledge, expertise and skills.
- Have the knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge in specialist electronic menu systems
- Have high level knowledge of State-wide Food Service Key Performance Indicators
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives across WMH with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Have the skills and knowledge to develop, implement and monitor food service systems, standards and policies across WMH
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and management of clinical and operational employees.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
